Axly ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our URL shortener service handles information. The short answer: we don't collect, store, or share any of your data.

Information We Collect

None. Axly is designed as a fully stateless, client-side application. When you use our URL shortener:

  • Your URL is encoded entirely within your browser using JavaScript
  • No URL data is transmitted to or stored on our servers
  • No personal information is collected, logged, or processed
  • No user accounts or profiles are created

How URL Shortening Works

When you shorten a URL with Axly, the original URL is encoded using Base64 encoding directly in your browser. The encoded string is embedded into the short link itself. At no point does your original URL leave your device or get stored on any server.

Cookies

Axly does not set any cookies. We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising, or any other purpose.

Third-Party Services

Our website is hosted on Netlify, which may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of their hosting infrastructure. We have no access to or control over this data. Please refer to Netlify's Privacy Policy for details.

We also use the following CDN-served resources:

  • Bootstrap CSS/JS — served via jsDelivr CDN
  • Google Fonts — for typography

These services may log standard request data according to their respective privacy policies.

Analytics & Tracking

Axly does not use any analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.). We do not track page views, clicks, user behavior, or any other metrics.

Data Security

Since we do not collect or store any data, there is no data to secure on our end. All connections to Axly are encrypted via HTTPS (SSL/TLS), provided automatically by Netlify.

Children's Privacy

Axly does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Our service is available for general use without any data collection.
